Backlash Is Bad for Business

Im Europaviertel in der belgischen Hauptstadt Brüssel ist am Gebäude des Europäischen Parlaments das Logo des EU-Parlaments zu sehen, aufgenommen am 24.06.2017. Das Logo stilisiert den Plenarsaal und die EU-Fahne mit dem Sternenkranz. Das Europäische Parlament hat drei Arbeitsorte: Straßburg, Brüssel und Luxemburg. Seinen Hauptsitz hat das Europäische Parlament in Straßburg, dort tritt es in der Regel einmal im Monat für eine Woche zu seinen Plenartagungen zusammen. In Brüssel liegt der Schwerpunkt der Ausschuss- und Fraktionsarbeit, außerdem finden dort zusätzliche Plenartagungen statt. Das Generalsekretariat, also die Verwaltung des Parlaments, befindet sich überwiegend in Luxemburg. In Brüssel sind die Hauptbüros der Mitglieder des Europäischen Parlaments.
