Technology is increasingly shaping the world of work. However, women are significantly under-represented in the European digital economy. Currently in Europe, women make up only 20% of graduates in ICT subjects, less than one in five ICT specialist jobs is occupied by a woman. In this short video made on the occasion of International Women's Day 2023, we address the challenges faced by women participating in the digital economy and give recommendations on how to tackle these challenges.
