Am 11. Oktober 2021 (16-17 Uhr) findet die erste Ausgabe unserer neuen Reihe Tech-Talk statt. Die aktuelle Ausgabe widmet sich dem Gesetz über digitale Dienste. Anmeldung ist ab jetzt möglich.
Mit dieser neuen Reihe des Kompetenzzentrums ‚Zukunft der Arbeit‘ der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung sollen aktuelle und oft komplexe Zusammenhänge rund um die Themen Digitalisierung und Zukunft der Arbeit erläutert und diskutiert werden. Diese Ausgabe widmet sich dem Gesetz über digitale Dienste.
Das Gesetz über digitale Dienste (Englisch: Digital Services Act, DSA) stellt die größte Gesetzesreform der digitalen Wirtschaft in der Geschichte der Europäischen Union dar. Um Europa für das digitale Zeitalter fit zu machen, schlägt die Europäische Kommission einen disruptiven Ansatz vor, um Technologiegiganten, wie Google, Facebook oder Amazon, zu regulieren. Anbieter digitaler Dienste sollen Regeln auferlegt bekommen, hierbei konzentriert sich die Kommission auf vier Prinzipien: Transparenz, Nutzerrechte stärken, Risikomanagement und branchenübergreifende Zusammenarbeit. Der Das Gesetz über digitale Dienste sieht EU-weite Verpflichtungen vor, die für alle digitalen Dienste gelten, die Verbraucher_innen mit Waren, Dienstleistungen oder Inhalten zusammenbringen.
Mit unserem Tech-Talk zum Gesetz über digitale Dienste möchten wir gemeinsam mit Athina Angeliki Tsitsou, (Europäische Kommission), Tiemo Wölken (MEP) und Aída Ponce del Castillo (ETUI) beleuchten, was genau der DSA ist und wie es sich in Zukunft auf die digitale Wirtschaft der EU auswirken wird.
