Digital Europe

The development of innovative digital technologies makes an important contribution to the economic growth within the EU. However, the growth of digital economy requires a coherent legal framework in social and environmental policies benefiting all workers in the EU.

In the efforts to become digital and competitive, there is a strong need for a human-centred approach by placing people in the centre of digital transformation.

In order to ensure cohesiveness across the EU, social dialogue between employers, workers and governments is needed to address potential asymmetric impacts of digitalisation on different industry sectors, regions and social groups.

The following topics are included:

  • Just transition
  • European Pillar of Social Rights
  • Aspect of digitalisation in the socio-ecological transformation
  • Rural-urban divide
  • Smart cities
  • The Future is Feminist
