Responsibilities
Financial accounting, control of project funds and budget management
Checking receipts, invoices and payment transactions in accordance with the financial guidelines of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (rules for public procurement)
Coordination and communication with the bank, tax consultants and other service providers
Supporting the project management in daily operations
Preparation of financial reports and proof of utilisation for the donors
Requirements
Training in accounting/finance or studies in business administration, economics or related disciplines; alternatively comparable knowledge, skills and experience
Good computer skills
Good knowledge of German and English
Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an advantage
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Flexibility and strong ability to work in a team
